MOMENTS OF SOLITUDE.

This series reflects the brief of exploring Collingwood and its surrounds in a personal way.

Capturing my how I captured this location through my lens. Below is a depiction of my connection with this place.

I spent the first ten years of my life in Melbourne were I explored many areas of the city, this including Collingwood. Moving to Torquay provided me with the ‘best of both worlds’ of having the ability to spend time in the City and the Coast. Since graduating high school and beginning my LCI journey, Collingwood has been an area in Melbourne I have spent some time in. I feel a new sense of motivation when I am surrounded by this area, I personally think it’s the ‘hustle and bustle’ that does this. I have memories exploring vintage shops, going to new cafes and meeting my first ever uni friends in Smith St. Whilst the unique sense of creativity Collingwood brings as a ‘creative hub’ of Melbourne.
